For this new interpretation of L'Homme Idéal, Thierry Wasser, perfumer at the Maison Guerlain, has chosen to explore new facets of almond, the olfactory hallmark of L'Homme Idéal. At the heart of the composition, it is amber and woody to the extreme, supported by the boldness of spices and the warm charisma of tobacco.
Almond, the olfactory hallmark of L'Homme Idéal , is accompanied in the top notes by the effervescence of bergamot mixed with pink pepper.
In the heart , cinnamon and plum notes accompany heliotrope, a floral note with elegant almond accents. Finally, the charm of a woody base note of patchouli and cedar is dressed in tobacco and an intense leather note .
A square, faceted bottle with clean lines
Its luxurious silhouette is inspired by a model from Guerlain's heritage. Its matte and dense stopper borrows the guilloché engraving from the world of watchmaking.
Guerlain is a French perfume house, among the oldest in the world. It has a large customer following, and has traditionally been held in high esteem in the perfume industry. Perfumes by Guerlain are often said to be characterized by a common olfactory accord known as the "Guerlinade". A perfume by the same name was launched by Guerlain in 1921.
