Glucoject Pen Needles are single-use needles that are used with injection pens to deliver insulin into the body. The components are a hollow needle covered with an internal protector, covered with the external protector and the cap that seals the assembly to maintain sterility. Usage Remove the seal from the insulin pen needle. Insert the needle into the pen and screw in until it locks. Then remove the outer protective cap and keep it as you will need it later to remove the needle from the pen. Remove the inner protective cap. Adjust your insulin dose. Check the flow by releasing a dose into the air. A drop of liquid should appear at the tip of the needle. Perform the injection. Put on the outer protective cap and remove the needle from the pen.
