Sterile calcium alginate dressing, consists of a thick, highly absorbent pad of non-woven alginate fibers for the treatment of moderate to highly exudative lesions. Highly absorbent. The white non-woven fabric is 100% calcium alginate fibres, these hydrophilic fibers absorb more than 10 times the weight of the dressing, creating a moist environment favorable for wound healing and minimal trauma upon removal. Allows wound contraction and gas exchange.
