Fennel is a plant with an aniseed smell native to the Mediterranean basin whose fruit has interesting digestive properties. Fennel essential oil, elanethol, acts on spasms, stomach pain and colon pain. Prevents intestinal fermentation and gas formation, in addition to stimulating digestion, salivation and milk production during breastfeeding. Other studies demonstrate the slight antimicrobial activity of fennel oil. Already used by the Egyptians as a digestive, fennel was also used, based on its medicinal properties, by the Greeks and Romans. The latter used the young stems as vegetables. In India it has been considered the pearl of aphrodisiacs, included in the composition of all exciting drinks. In Europe in the Middle Ages, magical properties were attributed to it, hanging on the doors of the house to protect them from witches, curses and bad spirits. How to use: As a dietary supplement, take three (3) fennel capsules a day, one (1) capsule after each meal.
