Nutavant Plus is a complete high-calorie, high-protein diet designed to maintain or improve the nutritional status of patients who present symptoms or are at risk of malnutrition.
Indications
- A complete, high-calorie, high-protein diet to maintain or improve the nutritional status of cancer patients suffering from malnutrition and combat fat loss. - This type of enteral nutrition is indicated for cancer patients undergoing radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy. - Geriatric population with difficulty meeting their nutritional needs. – Diets for patients with high calorie-protein requirements such as: postoperative, general metabolic stress, trauma, AIDS, cystic fibrosis, etc. – Combats pressure ulcers. – Home enteral nutrition. – Mechanical swallowing or transit disorders that cause severe aphagia or dysphagia and require a catheter.
Nutritional characteristics
The standard dose (1,000 ml/day) provides 89 g of protein, 169 g of carbohydrates, 65 g of fat, 1,620 kcal, and covers 100% of the RDA for vitamins and minerals.
